WebThe worst thing about flamethrowers is your AIs behavior. The squad commander can survive, if he doesnt stand in burning ground. Your AI will stand in flames and die. Its too easy to wipe squads with flamethrowers and yes the reload animation gets stuck while you burn. Seafury18 • 2 mo. ago

They have the longest TTK of any weapon, and being set on fire doesn't stop you from shooting, so any decent player will kill you before you get them. The best way to use them generally isn't as a troop killer.
