WebBambu was always upfront about Bambu Slicer being based on Prusa Slicer. The issue was they didn’t release the source code in a timely manner at the beginning. They were “hazed” about this and are now doing so as required by the licence. Open source politics can be really disadvantageous at making progress some times.

WebLockLearner • 1 yr. ago I never ran my Ender 3 using Prusaslicer, only ever Cura, but I did buy a Prusa and switched to Prusaslicer. I think it's pretty great. I would say just try out both and see how you like them. Different sliders excel at different things. For example, Cura has tree supports while Prusaslicer still does not, as far as I know. WebSo I have been printing for years, ender 3 and most recently, prusa mk3 series. Supports were just hard to dial in and remove. This right here... these settings.. are smack dead on. Life changing.... swear to printing gods. I agree, this should be the default. ... For everything else without supports I use prusaslicer.
